Ripe fruit was hand harvested, destemed at the winery, gently crushed and pressed. The resulting juice was fermented cool to retain the varietal characters in temperature controlled stainless vessels prior to a period of ageing on yeast lees. Aromas from the pure fruit derived characters showing pears, quince and some florals. The palate has excellent extract with characters of apples and pears with a hint of spice together providing great weight and softness, this combination giving a beautiful broad and mouth filling experience.
